Cate Samuelson, Evaluation Core Co-Director – Dr. Samuelson is an equity-focused research and evaluation consultant with over 20 years of experience in education and 10-years of experience conducting equity-focused research and evaluation. She has conducted evaluations of STEM diversity and inclusion programs, such as the Pacific Northwest LSAMP Alliance; coaching programs, such as the Program for New Principals; and education reform programs, like the National Center for Women & Information Technology Extension Services for Undergraduate Programs. Dr. Samuelson will be the external evaluator for the Cornell FIRST program and co-lead the Evaluation core with Martell. Dr. Samuelson will also serve as a member of the FIRST Institutional Steering Committee.
